1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Store nexora (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information in connection with the Android application HiddenApps Scanner (the “App”). By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

2. Overview

HiddenApps Scanner helps you review apps installed on your Android device. Core scanning and analysis are performed locally on your device. The App may display advertisements through Google AdMob, which may involve network requests and advertising identifiers as described below.

3. Information we process

On-device app data (not uploaded by us as personal account data)

  • Installed package names, labels, install dates, and related package metadata
  • Permission lists and local classifications (for example, sensitive-permission labels)
  • Optional usage/storage/network statistics when you grant Usage Access
  • Local scan history, watchlist preferences, and settings stored in app preferences

This information is used to show results inside the App. We do not operate a user account system for HiddenApps Scanner, and we do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts through the App’s scanning features.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses Google AdMob to show ads, which may include interstitial, app open, and native ads. Google and its partners may collect or process information such as advertising IDs, IP address, device and app information, and interaction data to provide and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted.

Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), a consent form may be shown before personalized ads are requested. You can learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and AdMob help.

5. Permissions

  • QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES — Required on Android 11+ to discover installed apps for scanning.
  • PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS — Optional. Used for storage, screen time, network usage insights, and related badges. You may deny this and still use core scanning.
  • INTERNET — Used to load advertisements from Google AdMob. Core scanning can still function if ads fail to load.
  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Optional. Used for reminder notifications if you enable them.
  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — Used to restore scheduled reminders after device reboot when reminders are enabled.

6. Local storage and exports

Preferences, scan history, and similar data are stored locally on your device. Clearing the App’s storage/data in Android settings removes this local data.

If you export a scan report, a CSV file is created in the App’s local cache and shared through the sharing method you choose. The export is initiated by you and contains app metadata visible on your device.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Data security

We design the App so that scanning remains on-device. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Please use device lock features and keep your system updated.

9. Third-party services

Advertising and related SDKs (including Google Mobile Ads / AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform where applicable) are governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
