Terms and Conditions
PDF Reader: Edit & Convert for Android — license, ads, and how you may use the App.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Store Nexora for use of the PDF Reader: Edit & Convert Android application (the “App”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, uninstall the App and do not use it.
1. The App
PDF Reader: Edit & Convert is a free, ads-supported local PDF reader and toolkit. You may open, organize, annotate, convert, compress, merge, split, scan, protect, and otherwise transform PDF files on your device. Store Nexora does not provide a user account for the App and does not host your documents on Store Nexora servers.
The App is not a general-purpose file manager. Where permitted, it may request All files access solely so it can list and open PDF documents for reading and tools. You may refuse that permission and still open individual files with the system picker or from other apps. Results depend on Android version, permissions you grant, and files you choose.
The App does not offer in-app purchases, Premium unlocks, or subscriptions.
2. License
Store Nexora grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, solely for your own lawful purposes, in accordance with these Terms and Google Play’s terms.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer (except where mandatory law allows), rent, or redistribute the App, or remove proprietary notices, except as Google Play’s license for the App already permits.
3. Your files and conduct
- You are responsible for the documents you open and for having the right to use them.
- You must not use the App to infringe copyright, evade technological protection measures in an unlawful way, distribute malware, or violate any law.
- Password tools are provided so you can protect or open files you are entitled to use. Do not use them to access other people’s files without authorization.
- When you share or open a file in another app, that app’s terms apply.
4. Features and accuracy
Tools such as convert, compress, merge, split, scan (including on-device OCR), watermark, lock/unlock, and page numbers run on the device. Scan uses Google Play services to crop, straighten, and capture multiple pages; OCR quality varies by photo, language, and handwriting. Output may not perfectly preserve layout, fonts, images, forms, or vector quality. PDF to Word produces an editable document derived from extracted text; it is not a guaranteed replica of the original page design. You should review results before relying on them.
We may add, change, or remove features. Tools and ad placement may change with App updates.
5. Ads
The App is free and supported by advertisements in workspace areas (for example home, tools, and settings). Ads are not placed on PDF page content or reader controls.
Advertising is provided by Google AdMob and may include banner, interstitial, native, and app-open ads. Ads are subject to consent where required (for example via Google User Messaging Platform in the EEA/UK). Availability and content of ads are controlled by Google and third-party advertisers, not by Store Nexora.
There is no paid option inside the App to remove ads.
6. Third-party services
The App uses Google Play, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), Google User Messaging Platform, and Google ML Kit (document scanner and text recognition) via Play services. Your use of those services is also governed by Google’s terms. Store Nexora is not responsible for outages, policy changes, or decisions by Google (including ads availability or fill rates).
Open-source components (including PdfBox-Android, AndroidX, Kotlin, and fonts) are licensed under their own licenses, which continue to apply. A short acknowledgement appears in the App’s Settings.
7. Privacy
How information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy. In summary: documents are processed on device; Store Nexora does not run an App cloud account; advertising and related consent involve Google.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Store Nexora disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that conversions, scans, or compressed files will meet your professional, legal, or archival requirements.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those places, exclusions apply only to the extent allowed.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Store Nexora and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from the App or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility.
To the extent liability cannot be excluded, Store Nexora’s total liability for claims relating to the App is limited to USD 10, except where law requires otherwise (including liability for death, personal injury, or fraud that cannot be limited).
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Store Nexora against claims arising from your misuse of the App, your documents, or your violation of these Terms or of others’ rights, except to the extent caused by Store Nexora’s willful misconduct.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop providing the App or restrict access if you breach these Terms, if the App is removed from Google Play, or if we discontinue the product. Sections that by nature should survive (including 8–10 and 12–13) remain in effect.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The effective / last-updated date will change. If you continue to use the App after an update, you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, uninstall the App.
13. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Store Nexora for the App. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Store Nexora’s failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization or sale of assets.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Store Nexora’s operation of the App, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that you may have mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
